Wildflowers

Wildflower photography can be presented in a few different ways. First, there is the field effect. This is where a whole field of flowers are photographed. This can provide an artistic colorful mixture, and can look great even with a little motion blur from the wind. Second, there is the closeup. Closeup images focus in on the subject. There can be more than one flower in a closeup image and can be enhanced with a flashlight illuminating it from the side or a reflecor to direct sunlight. Additionally, the use bokeh, or a blurred background, can help a flower closeup to stand out. Lastly, there is the iconic macro photograph.
